You are offerding on a chalice byNorth Carolina potter and educator CynthiaBringle.

DESCRIPTION: This impressive pot is rife with masterfullyexecuted decorative details. The stemboasts variations in width and form similar to those produced on a woodlathe. There are also complex carvedadornments both on the flared base and where the stem meets the bowl. The latter expands upward to where there aretwo concentric circular lines. Fromthere it retracts ever so slightly before flowing into a gently flaredlip.

The glaze treatment is artfuland stunning. The bowl has a warm speckledyellow glaze. The stem has cinnamon redand sky blue sections. And the base isgrayish purple.

The goblet stands 8 ¼” talland measures 3 ¼” at its widest. It isin mint condition- no chips, cracks or repairs- and is signed on the interiorof the base.
