Beautiful early 19th century Georgian Chamberlain Worcester Armorial dinner plate featuring the Skinner family crest, c. 1816-1840. The center features a hand-painted \'griffin\'s head erased argent, in the mouth a hand couped at the wrist gules\' and under the motto \'Sanguis et Vulnera\' in banner, on a Kings pattern Imari blank with rust, blue and gilt border. Marked on the underside Chamberlain\'s Worcester &155 New Bond Street London Royal Porcelain Manufacturers. Measures 9 3/4\" diameter. Note the plate is in overall Excellent antique condition with little scratching, please note the following: there are a few spots of glaze loss on the verge (most likely from staking), fine crazing throughout, gold loss to the rim as well as a tight non-structural hairline to the rim as shown, please see all photos.
