Dec 1948 Wards Airline Model 84 HA 1810C AM FM Tube Radio Wood Cabinet Powers On For Sale

This vintage Wards Airline Model 84 HA-1810C AM FM Tube Radio is a collectible piece that will surely impress any radio enthusiast. Made in the United States, it comes in a beautiful wood cabinet. While it does powers on, I was unable to tune any stations in, nor would it move the tuning needle. One of the aentenna wires is loose, leading to tuning failure. I believe with a little tinkering and reconnecting the aentenna wires that the stations would be gleaming through its speaker once more.

This radio is an original piece from December 1948. It has not been modified in any way, and it is the perfect addition to any collection. The radio is waiting to be preserved and is in excellent structural condition. The back cover with a built-in loop antenna is loose but fairly intact other than It has a corner that is missing. The wood cabinet shows signs of age in the finish and has some light scuffs and scratches but doesn't appear to have anything deep. The knobs and cord appear in good and operating conditions.
