Disney DLR The Haunted Mansion Collection 2009 Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, 6 Pin Set For Sale

This gift with purchase background illustration (map/card/board) features the 2009 GWP Haunted Mansion pin collection. This collection was specially designed for the Disneyland® Resort and features Mickey and his friends dressed as characters from the New Orleans Square Area Attraction. This collection will be released the first Sunday of each month from January to June 2009.Starting on Sunday, January 4, 2009, and on every first Sunday of the month for the first six months, a new GWP pin will be given out for every purchase of $25 or more (before taxes) on pins and/or pin accessories. Guests will also receive this illustration as a gift with the purchase at participating pin purchasing locations throughout the Disneyland® Resort, while supplies last.The Illustration of the HM building is of a cutout design of the mansion showing the interiors of several rooms. Although there are no pin outlines or holes punched in the card, each of the 6 pins is to be placed in a appropriate spot to represent the HM character that the Disney character is portraying. For instance, Minnie as "Constance the Bride" goes in the attic by the wedding cake; "Mickey as the Knight" goes in the hallway by the door and clock, where the suit of armor is standing in the attraction; "Goofy in the Coffin" is in the room with the funeral wreath; "Daisy as Leota" is on the table in the seance room. However, those in the know at Disney have a debate going as to where "Donald as Phineas" should be placed. It is either on the walkway by the columns outside the mansion, or in the room with the staircase. "Pluto as the Caretaker's Dog" is said to have his place in the graveyard to the right of the mansion. No one at Disney can answer to what use the interior drawing of the dining room in the lower left of the building serves except maybe to show off the hidden Mickey.On the front left corner of this 10"X12" cardboard illustration is a crow flying with a banner in it's beak that says: "GHO-ST-ART (go start) PIN TRADING." On the lower left is an oval with the words "Haunted Mansion Disneyland Resort" in it and below that is (c) Disney. On the lower right-handcorner are the words "Made in China."The pins in this series are: 67493, 67697, 68154, 68768, 69165, and 70491.
