EFFANBEE COMPOSITION MARY LEE DOLLThis cute Mary Lee is 16 inches tall and in good condition considering she was made sometime in the 1930\'s. Her only defect is a 3/4 inch crack above the left eye, but is not noticeable as her long bangs cover it nicely. (see photo) She has beautiful clear blue sleep eyes that open and close properly. Her painted eyebrows are still in good condition. She has the pretty red open mouth, four upper teeth and felt red tongue which is standard for the Mary Lee dolls. Her pigtail blond wig is in excellent condition.
She is marked correctly MARY LEE on her neck and Effanbee Patsy Joan on her back. She is wearing a fragile light pink dress trimmed in blue, with two lace pockets. There are a few repairs to the dress but it doesn\'t distract from it\'s beauty. Her blond pigtails are adorned with blue ribbons and a lovely straw hat.
The light yellow hat is in very good condition. It is trimmed with a light blue ribbon and an arrangement of pretty flowers in the back.
Her vintage blue shoes, white socks and panties complete her outfit.A little history on the Mary Lee dolls
