This sale is for a Slingerland 40x18 Mahogany Concert Bass Drum. The Slingerland Black/Gold Badge has the serial number 242939. This large drum can be shipped by freight to most locations. The bass drum is in overall good condition and it sounds Great! The Mahogany wood shell looks to be in good shape and the bearing edges look good. There are re-rings at the edges and two rings in the middle of the shell also. There are some scratches and scuffs on the outside shell as you can see and needs to be cleaned and polished to make it look better. The pictures show streaks but this is from the camera flash. The Ludwig heads are used but in good shape. The claws and lugs have some scratches and pitting and some wear and could use polishing. The wood hoops are not cracked. There are eye hooks attached to the shell for a stand, there is no stand included.
