ISFAHAN c1900, HIGH QUALITY ANTIQUE PERSIAN ISLAMIC ENGRAVED SOLID SILVER VASE
Description:
An antique early 20th Century Persian Islamic solid silver vase of inverted baluster form. The body is profusely engraved in exceptional detail, featuring various birds and beasts amongst flowering plants on a textured ground, with a shaped panel to the front decorated with scrolls and flowers.
The vase is hallmarked to the base in Farsi with the number 84, for 875 standard silver, City of Isfahan with an unidentified makers mark, and it dates to the early 20th Century, circa 1900-1910.
