This breathtakingly detailed, hand painted plate made by J P L France, will instantly capture your attention. The gorgeous, rich colors, and depth of detail will instantly make this piece your hands down favorite. Green back stamp, “Patd Dec 6th 1892 J P L France”. Yellow and deep pink cabbage roses and their leaves are the main focus. The design has been placed on a scalloped edge plate with figural ribbon handles. The plate is in very nice condition. No chips or cracks. There is one area of paint loss on the pink rose petal in plate center. Captured in pictures #3 and#10. Wear appropriate with age around the plate edges, and handles. No artist signature found. A stunning example of fine craftsmanship. Measures approximately 11.75” handle to handle x 10.5” in height.
