LARGE Antique 1911 Catholic Religious chromo Lithograph Art printed on Tin. For Sale

This incredible Chromo Lithograph ( on tin ) was available for purchase in 1911, as high lighted

in the lower right corner of this beautifully detailed, and yes damaged piece of Christian, Catholic art.

A Lithograph is a printmaking process done by stone and metal. Lithography is unique as it closely resembles a painting.

Measuring approximately: 23.5” x 17.5”, this age worthy piece depicts the Crucifixion of Our Savior , Jesus Christ, with The Blessed Mother Mary to the right side dressed in her noted Blue Cloak. The blessed Mother Virgins blue cloak represents her purity, innocence as “pure as the sky above”. To the right of Christ you see Mary Magdalene as depicted with her fiery red hair.

Signed in the lower right hand corner "C.R." or "G.R." Please note that the initials are below the symbol for ‘Papal Insignia & Regalia’.

Also, below it is written "Copyrighted 1911 By Catholic Educational Co."
