**During the next month or so during the Fall train season I have been inspired to list some trains that are all completely original and uncirculated that have not been from train show to train show and have never been offered for sale before. These trains were all acquired by me during the \"hay-days\" of the York TCA Train meet in York PA over 2 decades ago and are quite simply the best quality trains money can buy. Since I have all the F3\'s and separate sale items in master cartons as well as boxed passenger trains you never know what I may list.

WOW here we havethe rareLionel 1587S pink girls train set made 1 year only in 1957. Its a collectors dream today but a disaster in 1957. Itdidn\'t go over well as sales were very low and little girls didn\'t want to play with trains. Most dealers sent them back to the factory for a credit as they just could not sell them. Ibought this set from the original owner in 1997 in Fraser Michigan. He wound up withtotally by accident as his parents bought it new for his sisterfor Christmas in 1957and she never wanted it, never used it, andshe gave it to him thinking he would play with it but with it being pink he didn\'t want to play with it either. He simply stored the set in a closet for 40 years and then sold it to me.The set is absolutely new and un-run with all boxes and paper work and as you can see the transformer cord is still wrapped from the factory with the lock on and hook up wires.
The set is absolutely complete, brand new, un-run andconsists of the 2037-500 steam engine with the 1130T-500 tender, 6462-500 gondola, 6464-515 boxcar, 6436-500 hopper, 6464-510 boxcar, and the 6427-500 caboose, 6019 uncouple section, banded track (not shown), billboard sheet, 1957 catalog, 1957 accessory catalog, operating booklet, engine instruction sheet, smoke pill bottle, wood tamper, and grease tube. I have the banded track but its not shown in the photos. It is amazing how complete set this set is having truly come from the original owner. All boxes grade a 9/10 with all flaps and the set box is slightly faded. Impossible to find in this condition and quite simplythe best and only oneI ever found in over 40 years of collecting. Trains have not been tested for operation.
