L.L. Bean No. 249 Penn Deep Sea Reel
I\'m listing some tough pre-war Penn reels and others tonight. Here is a LL Bean of Freeport Maine No. 249 Penn deep sea reel in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Note the engraved tail plate, waffle click button, and resin knob with built in oiler. One of the few Penn trade reels that had the Penn name also on it, according to Michael Cacioppo\'s wonderful new Penn Reels book (a must have for reel collectors, available from Whitefish Press). I believe this is a pre-war reel.An interesting addition to your collection!
