We are pleased to offer this rare double face jug by Louis& Lillian Brown, of the Brown family of potters from Arden, NC. This is a truly remarkable joint piece, whichis either decorated with glass or double dipped in top portion area over afeldspar-based primary glaze. China teethand lots of detail in the factial features.Incised LDB and LBB on the base by the couple and dated from 1993. Also stamped Brown Pottery on the side as issometimes done at the shop. There are 2 stickers in the px which have since been removed (toward the base-likely from the former owner). The jugstands 7.5\" by 7\" max height. Mintcondition.
