Lyon Coulson/Heddon Captain 402 Bamboo Fly Rod 8 1/2\' Trout Taper Full Length For Sale

Here is a L & C Captain #402 bamboo fly rod, made by Heddon for the Buffalo, New York sporting goods company. This is an 8 1/2\' three piece rod with two tip sections. It has the 2F Standard Troutnickelsilver ferrules. All sections are full original length. Varnish is hard and glossy with a couple of chips at the bottom of the mid and tip sections. Bottom guide missing from mid section. One of the tip tops is a close replacement. Note the agatine stripping guide. Comes with a replacement vintage partitioned bagand the original tube with a very good label, missing it\'s cap. Ferrules fit snugly with no clicking when the rod is flexed. A smooth medium action 5 or 6 weight. With a little pleasant work it will be ready for spring fishing!
