50 watts per channel, into 8 ohms. Will play as well as most of today\'s units rated at 100 watts.
This unit has that classic Marantz sound, deep powerful bass, strong midrange, and crisp high frequencies.
Faceplatefair.Light scratches here and there. Ding on lower LH corner.
All lettering good. Marks around faceplate bolts.
Dial glassgood, light marks from cleaning.
Original feet!! Original knobs.
Concentric bass, mid, and treble controls for separate tone control for each channel.
All panel lights replaced, meters lamps replaced, dial pointer light works, stereo indicator replaced. All function indicator lamps work. Faceplate, dial glass, tuning scale cleaned inside and out.
Tantalum capacitors on tone board replaced with electrolytic capacitors.
Audio power amplifier forward bias and DC Offset set to factory specifications.
DC electrolytic capacitors on the Power Supply / Speaker Realay Board, Audio Amplifier, Phono amplifier boardreplaced for improved stability
Power supply voltage set to factory specifications.
Phono amplifier upgraded as per Marantz Service Bulletin
Diffuser paper behind the tuning scale and meters replaced to restore that classic Marantz blue glow!
All inputs work--Phono, Tape 1 In/Out, Tape 2 In/Out, Aux.
Connections for two sets of speakers.
FM reception is excellent, AM reception isfair.
Cabinetgood. (See pix) Some very small marks.
Electronically everything works fine. Controls and switches cleaned with De-Ox-It.
