Up for sale is a unique piece of history from the Home Front during World War II and into the early 1950s, under the FCDA. This Manchester Connecticut Civil Defense uniform is a rare original item from both eras. They were worn by civilians who were trained to assist in the event of an air raid. The coveralls are in good condition and have been well preserved over time.

This uniform was utilized by the O.C.D and later FCDA, possibly into the 1960s under the OCDM.

The uniform is a perfect addition for any collector of militaria or WW2/ 1950s memorabilia. It is an original piece that shows the efforts of the home front to support the nation. The coveralls are made in the United States and have a unique connection to the region.

They have been cleaned, however, have light stains from their previous storage.
