Neat Old Navajo hand made/stamped brooch? -New Mexico metal detecting find For Sale

See our other sales for more similar but unique Navajo relics found while metal detecting in New Mexico on private property. The Navajos did not just use silver for their goods. In fact, when searching old sites, it is far more common to find items made of brass, copper, aluminum, iron, and white metal than silver. Not all Navajos had silver available to them, or could afford it, so they used what they could find.
Neat old hand made/stamped pin/brooch?, found at an old Navajo site in Western New Mexico. Has the good luck swastikas/rolling logs, so should date to the 1920-30's period. In good dug condition, with patina, I cleaned it just a little to take a better photo. Looks to be made of brass or copper. Probably had a pin on the back, which is now missing. Measures approx. 2" x 1 9/16". Neat, early display item!
