This listing is for two small stonescalled "Uzura ishi"(quail stone)that were collected on Iwo Jima, Japan. Uzura ishi is minerallyanorthite, the component ratio is closer to andesine.
Each stoneweighs approx 0.6 grams and the size is approx 1cmlong.
Please note: Colors orshapes may slightly differ from the sample pictures.
The coin,pencil and the twizersare for scale, not included in this item.

Iwo Jima is a volcanic island about 1200km south of Tokyo and is known as one of the most difficult places to get to.　After the WWII, the island became a part of the Japanese Self-Defence Forse (JSDF) base so generally, it is prohibited to enter the island except for the JSDF members who are stationed on the island.​
