WORLDWIDE SHIPPING. This is the only time recorded that an Intelligence Star named group has been for sale. No other records of any other named Intelligence Stars have been offered for sale. The CIA Agents name was Richard Spicer. He was referred to in the Johnny Depp movie \"Made in America\" and was killed in a plane crash in Nicaragua in 1984 while participating in the Iran Contra Affair. That crash is one of the reasons for the investigation into the Iran Contra affair. Speculations surrounding the crash still exist and his death is still highly classified. This group was obtained from the estate of the brother of Mr Spicer. You rarely see Intelligence Star medals (unnamed) for sale and routinely you see Exceptional Service medals sell that are also unnamed. The medals are dated 1985 (when they were presented to the wife) and are serial numbered on the rim. They are also hallmarked on the backs as shown. The Intelligence Star is numbered 241 and the Exceptional Service medal is marked 130 and Maco New York, fine silver .999 (I believe it weighs about 9 ounces). They both come in the original leather cases in excellent condition. Accompanying the medals is a letter from President Ronald Reagan and microfilm copies of various newspaper articles detailing the death and surrounding controversy with the crash. It\'s a rare opportunity to get this group, it\'s the only one that exists and for the CIA collector, it\'s the holy grail. Guaranteed original.
