- Disneykins (First Series) MARX “Triple Playsets” -- THREE Scenes (Snow White + Gepetto + Dumbo) -- SUPERB almost NEW Condition / ORIGINAL Box -

Vintage DISNEYKINS (First Series) “Triple Playsets” in its desirable, “MARX” Grey Box. There is a “W. T. Grant Co.” Department Store price sticker of $1.00 on the side of the box. This circa 1961 ORIGINAL box is in SUPERB (almost new) condition and features THREE different playset SCENES - “Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs”, “Gepetto’s Shop”, and “Dumbo’s Circus”. These large “Triple Playsets” have separate, cellophane window boxes, staged with 5 – 8 individual characters, including furniture + props and a themed background for EACH scene.

Everything is complete; all of the original characters and accessories are contained in this “Triple Playset”, with the EXCEPTION of the “Dumbo” character Disneykin. It was MISSING from this playset when I purchased it over 20 years ago. However, the “Dumbo” Disneykin character can be easily purchased on , individually, at a modest cost and added back to the box by a buyer of this wonderful condition playset.

The THREE different scenes and the characters / accessories contained in EACH are detailed below.

“Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs” SCENE includes – Snow White, Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Happy, Sneezy, Sleepy, and Grumpy (as well as the table and fireplace accessories).

“Gepetto’s Shop” SCENE includes – Pinocchio, Figaro, Gepetto, Blue Fairy, and Jiminy Cricket (as well as the bed, table + chairs, and fireplace accessories). Please NOTE: the glue holding the Pinocchio character to his spot in the playset scene has weakened and the Pinocchio figure has come loose. I will leave it to the buyer as to how they want to reattach the Pinocchio character back to its original space within the scene.

“Dumbo’s Circus” SCENE includes – Timothy, Ringmaster, Alice, Bambi, and Tinkerbelle (as well as the two stools and circus wagon accessories). Please NOTE: as previously mentioned, this particular scene is MISSING the “Dumbo” character.

CONDITION: this Disneykins “Triple Playset” is guaranteed authentic and original. Box measures about 12 ¼ inches long, by about 5 ¼ inches wide, and about 1 ½ inches high. It is in SUPERB, almost new condition with very minor handling wear to the individual box and box cover. As mentioned, there is a LOOSE Pinocchio character and the MISSING Dumbo character. In addition, there is a section of the cellophane window which is fully intact that covers the “Gepetto’s Shop” SCENE but has detached (only about half) or pulled away from the box cover. This area of the cellophane, again about half, could be reglued or reattached to the box cover, but I will leave that to the next buyer so that it conforms to their standards. There are also two very small tears along the TOP of the box cover ONLY (look to the left of “Made in Hong Kong” and to the right of “Walt Disney Productions”). This may have occurred in a store from stacking boxes or customer handling, who knows. Lastly there are two small tape stains on the very bottom of the box and two staples on the sides of the box, likely all original to the box at the time of purchase.
