Roman numerals 1-12 dial with sub 13-24 Arabic numerals ( this is the first indicationformilitary watch ) .Officers name,\" Joehanson \" engraved on the outer cover is the second military indication.

For 20 years pocket watch dealer this is my second Officer\'s watch circa before 1900\'s , but first key wind. Never seen before gold filledkey wind watch ( usually key wind watches are coin silver or silveroid ) Also never seen before this much big watch case .Theouter cover gilding isworn out , but on inners gilding is there. The second inner cover is scratched due to key winding. The front cover pop up when press the crown and stays up ( spring is working ) .

Dial is in very good condition ,no hairlines . Missing the crystal and second hand , looks like at the front cover the \"Jeweler \" was trying to engrave the roman helmet .
