Rare \"Squarelite\" Miner\'s Carbide Cap Lamp For Sale

Up for sale is a rare Shanklin \"Squarelite\" caroffere lamp. It is a cap lamp size. The lamp is nickel plated, but the plating is worn and certainly and aged and not perfect. A hook has been applied to the lamp that is not original (it could be removed). From what I can tell, there was never a hook on the lamp. Apparently, the lamp was mounted some way by the rectangular metal loop on the back of the lamp (some other early lamps had this feature). Perhaps an ore car lamp? Don\'t know but that lamp appears to be complete. The lamp has a small split on the edge of the base. Please look at the photos carefully as I do not accept returns.
