DescriptionA set of 6 fabulous, antique Dresden porcelain covered and two-handled cups or bowls with shell finials and matching saucers. These are probably bullion cups or crème de pots but could also be used as dessert dishes. They are exquisitely hand painted with colorful flowers and have much elaborate raised gilding. Hand signed on underside in gold with a Dresden crown mark and another symbol (not sure of the maker). The covered cups are 3" tall and 4" across handle, 3" diameter. The scalloped saucers are 5&1/2" diameter. The set is in extraordinary condition, on close examination I could only find one "fleabite" flake to one seashell finial of no consequence and could easily be touched up with gold. No chips, cracks, stains, repairs, hairlines or other issues. Circa 1900 Germany. Gorgeous!! !! PLEASE SEE MY OTHER FINE CHINA ON sale NOW.
