Up for sale is an original typed letter from the letterhead of The Foreign Service Of The United States of America - American Embassy, Mexico, from William O'Dwyer to Mr. Clifford Evans, dated December 5, 1951. Original signature, signed, "Bill".
Clifford Evans was vice president and Washington news bureau director of the RKO General Broadcasting Corporation.
William O'Dwyer was an Irish-American politician and diplomat who served as the 100th Mayor of New York City, holding that office from 1946 to 1950.
The letter is approximately 7" x 11".
Overall, it is in Good condition. Some age related toning/browning and crinkling in the tissue paper. Folds from when it was originally folded and mailed.
A great addition to any collection.
