STUNNING MINTONS VICTORIAN HAND PAINTED CABINET PLATE C1880 ANTIQUE MINTON NR For Sale

This very unusual Victorian Minton cabinet plate measures 240mm (9.5\'\') across x 25mm (1\'\') deep and weighs 474 grams. It is marked to the reverse with the puce Mintons globe below the crown with an impressed mark below and dates to the 1880\'s and is decorated with a hand painted vignette of cattle with a raised gilded boarder around it with a romantic rural landscape on a blue/green ground with a similar boarder to the rim. It was clearly designed as a cabinet plate as it must have been very expensive to produce and it is not a design I have come across before. It is in good antique condition with no cracks chips or restorations and some light surface marks which are hard to see. A very unusual decorative plate from one of the best makers of the period sold with .
