Singer Sewing Machine 1951 66-18 AK Crinkle Finish Booklet Attachments & Pedal
This looks like it was refinished at some point. The paint on the body has somewhat of a rough flat black finish. The motor, back pulley and light has the traditional black paint finish.
I lubed the top. Bottom and front of machine.
New rubber tire for the bobbin winder.
__________
The tensioner was tested and works.
The light works.
The stitch length lever adjustment tested and works.
Reverse adjustment tested and works.
The only problem is that I couldn\'t get the wood top to lock onto the base. You must carry the machine from the bottom. The adjustment hole at the end is jammed pretty good, I was able to get it to lock with a kot of muscle but it is very difficult to turn so I may ship it to you unlocked. I\'ve seen the lock mechanism for sale here for around $25. It requires a standard small tipped screwdriver for adjustment.
Otherwise the case is very nice cosmetically with a few various scratches on top. I\'ve seen the same case sold here alone for $150- $200..
Comes with a box of the original various extra feet, etc. and original booklet.
Cosmetically this a very beautiful machine.
