Origin of England, an early 19th century mahogany knife box.

The interior now fitted to hold stationery.

It has a crotch veneered top and front with ebonized inlay and lozenge shaped bone escutcheon.

The interior has been divided into eight compartments.

Condition:

It is good overall, with minor bumps, touch ups, and checking to veneers, escutcheon was replaced.
