This is a stunningANTIQUE solid sterling silver muffineer or sugar caster or sifter which was made in Birmingham, England in 1905 by the illustrious silversmiths, William Neale & Son at their Cox Street workshops. It is in a stunning circular design - modelled after Georgian pieces from the 1780\'s. It stands9 1/8\" tall and is approximately 3 3/4\" in diameter. It is not loaded butVERY substantial -it weighs268.8 grams -almost 83/4troy oz. It is NOT engraved.

It is in very good condition with less than the usual surface scratching and NO splits,a few dings and dentsbutNO distortion - the push fit top is still a tight fit - SUPER. It is hallmarked with WN, lion passant (sterling silver assay mark),three sheaves, E showing that it was hallmarked in Chester in 1905. I have shown the hallmarks so that you can make up your own mind.A superANTIQUE caster in super condition afteralmost 110 years at a very low start and !!!!
