The ribbon needs replacing, some keys lightly stick, and the Y key works unless pressing soft (won\'t reach the ribbon when hit soft). Unit is \"used\" with wear, scuffing; could use a thorough cleaning. Based off the serial number, I believe this is a 1940\'s (1946?) typewriter:11-5855044. Comes with a plastic cover (presumably from the store it was bought at, not labeled underwriter company).
