This is an incredible vintage Hopi all silver very important ring handmade by the incredibly famous Hopi artist, Lawrence Saufkie. Lawrence started making jewlery in the 1940's and was the spectacular 1962 Indian Market award winner. He had also won the very incredible and difficult award to achieve, Arizona Indian Living Treasure award in 1998. This award is much difficult to achieve as only one artist wins it per year. This wonderful ring contains a beautiful center oval shaped silver face that consists of remarkable geometric overlay patterns. The detailing of the overlay pattern is just precise and so spectacular. The way the artist beautifully chiseled lines within the overlay patterns is just amazing. So fascinating. The ring is sturdy. The ring face measures around 1-5/8" x 5/8". Signed by Hopi artist, Lawrence Saufkie. The ring size is around 5.5. Cir. 1980's+. Sterling silver, marked. Sturdy 7 grams.-FREE Lifetime Warranty
