VINTAGE SINGER SEWING MACHINE #221 FEATHERWEIGHT WITH CASE, 1948, RUNS GREAT For Sale

This is a vintage SINGER sewing machine, Model 221 Featherweight. The serial # is AH424840 and was made in 1948. This is a later Model 221-1 which has the reverse feature. These machines are still very popular as a somewhat lighter portable and no quilter should be without one. This unit is in nice condition and has been well taken care of over the years. It runs great and sews even better. Stitches are straight and tight. Light is working and the wiring for the plug and the foot controller have been replaced for safe operation. There are some bumps and bruises and a few scratches on the bed and paint wear on the edge of the extension plate. The machinehas been oiled and is running just great. The case is in nice condition. Does have some marks on it, but the Tulon covering is in great shape, both inside and out. The handle does show wear. Zoom in on the first picture. Includes the casetray with extra bobbins and some other extra accessories.
