VTG 1940s Mexican Redware Hand-Painted Piecrust-Edge Set of 2 Nesting Bowls For Sale

Beautiful vintage 1940s set of two Mexican Redware hand-painted with piecrust edges oval nesting bowls. The smaller one fits inside the larger. They are both a maize yellow color with gorgeous, abstract, hand-painted designs with dark blue piecrust edges. These are usually found pretty chipped up, but this set is in very good condition, no damage, just some wear due to age. These should be used for decorative purposes only, since I don't know if the glaze is lead-free. The larger bowl is 8.5" L x 3" H, and the smaller is 7.25" L x 2.5" H. Just beautiful!
