Vega Vegavox #1 Tenor Banjo c.1930\'s with Piecrust Resonator.NoRes.. For Sale

Here is a  gorgeous prewar Vega Vegavox #1 Tenor Banjo circa 1930.

This is an excellent example of the Vox Tenor Banjo. 

This is the Instrument that astounded the Jazz Banjo World of the early 1930\'s with its unique sound.

This Banjo is completely original with: Mahogany Neck, Faux Pearl Sidewall, Piecrust Resonator and Inlaid with multiple Gold Banding.

The wood finish is appealing with some wear on the back of the neck.

Some finish wear on the lower part of the Armrest.

There is a small hairline crack on the lower part of the banjo at the very top..see the photo.

This does not interfere with the outstanding sound that this Banjo still produces. It is ready to play...

Also comes with I believe the original hard shell case but it shows its age with wear and it\'s missing the handle.

The two rings that hold the handle are there, it\'s still solid and very usable.
