Vintage 1950\'s Kay Jazz Special Electric Bass Project. Kelvinator Howlin Wolf For Sale

Up for sale is a vintage, 1950\'s Kay Jazz Special bass in need of restoration. As you can see, someone has done a number on the headstock. Either trying to turn it into a baritone guitar or mandocello. The neck and possibly body have been refinished or at least oversprayed. The tailpiece, bridge and tuners are non original. The original pickup is not hooked up and is untested. The original pickguard is in good shape though. This one is definitely a project and but could be made into something very cool.
