Vintage \'60s Royal Staffordshire LANDING OF PILGRIMS trivet for Plymouth Rock For Sale

This souvenir trivet was made for the Plymouth Rock Gift Shop no later than the 1960s and imported by John H. Roth, who had started as a clerk for a ceramics importing firm in South Bend in the 1880s, then set out on his own in 1909 under the trade name Jonroth Studios in Peoria, IL. Roth ultimately chose to focus specifically on importing British-made pottery focusing on American historical events. Royal Staffordshire (brand name for A.J. Wilkinson) was one of many suppliers for Jonroth, and we can date this trivet as no later than 1964 because that\'s when A.J. Wilkinson was no longer in business.
