Vintage Barbie ~ All-Original #4 Brunette Ponytail ~ NM ~ \"Sample\" Doll in Lame Sheath

***PLEASE READ INFORMATION BELOW on SAMPLES!***

This is a beautiful Brunette #4, all-original! Very hardto let her go. She has glorious glossy raven black hair in the original ponytail, original topknot and original bottom band disintegrated but remnant is still in the ponytail. The end curl has relaxed to multiple lovely soft curls. Her lovely soft poodle bangs are just gorgeous. No haircuts or missing plugs.

Her face isall-original and drop-dead gorgeous! She has lovely brows, and huge, expressive blue eyes with smoky eyeshadow. I did photos both with and without flash, as sometimes the non-flash shows the beauty of the face better. Her lips are scarlet and lovely. She even has a bit of original blush! She has no extra holes, neck split, nose nip. NO green. I placed safe earrings in her ears.

Her lovely solid Barbie body is great, all limbs tight, red nail polish is 100%. No significant damage. There is a small \"cut\" on the very bottom of right foot (factory?).

She will come to you in her Pak Lame Sheath, which is in mint condition. The unusual thing here is that she is wearing navy blue long gloves. There is also a navy sheer sash tied around the waist. She has navy OT Japan shoes, great condition. Her Barbie R box is marked \"Sample\" and is in very good condition. Some shelf wear, and the hair color label has come off. The doll was originally tied in with a string around the waist, but the string has broken and only the part taped to the back of the box remains. (Please see photo #10)

***ABOUT the \"SAMPLE\" issue: I was sold this doll some years ago as an original Mattel Sample. It has since come to my attention that some collectors feel these are not true Mattel samples, but that the outfits were modified later by someone. I CANNOT GUARANTEE THIS IS A TRUE MATTEL SAMPLE. That is why I put the word \"Sample\" in quotation marks. The navy gloves could have been dyed, although I did a very cautious test to see if they are color fast to water, and they are.***

In any case, this is a fabulous #4 in a lovely hard-to-find sheath in this minty condition. Please offer according to your best judgment, and if you have doubt, please refrain from offerding.
