Vintage 1960’s Era Detroit Zoo Souvenir Pennant - 8 1/2

inches long. Poor condition but ideal for a collector who wants something that was truly used and enjoyed by the original owner.

Color is faded especially on the front side perhaps from exposure to light over the years. The Lion looks pinkish and maybe was originally more orange. The background looks blueish and maybe was originally more green. The back is darker and has a more greenish turquoise shade.

There were thumbtacks through all 3 corners. One tore away a part of the gold edge strip when removed due to rust on it. One left a distinctive round stain at the point. The point is also slightly frayed around the edges. There are a few stains in various places.
