Vintage Mid Century Handmade Geometric Wooden Blocks 6 Candle Holder SculptureThis fabulous handmade wooden geometric candelabra candle holder will make a great addition to your collection and a beautiful centerpiece on your MCM dining table. It features 9 drilled wood blocks at differing heights attached to a wood base with cross slat accents. The base and inner cross pieces appear to be oak wood and the blocks look similar to teak or walnut but I am not sure what they are. I am guessing that it was made for use with tealight style candles or votives. While in my opinion, it is Mid Century in style, I do not know exactly how old it is but personally think it will blend right in. It does have some wear so please read complete details below and review photos closely for condition. Thank you and enjoy!ITEM DETAILS:

• Approximate weight is 2 lbs 8 ozs
• Measures approximately 3.5" tall at highest point x 7-1/8" x 7-1/8" overall. The individual blocks vary in width and are around 2-1/4" across; the round center hole is approximately 1-5/8" across each x with depths that vary around 5/8" deep or a bit less.
• Condition: In vintage pre-owned used handmade condition with wear including candle wax residue, scratches, abrasions, scuffing, chipping around the edges/corners, one of the blocks has a dented top corner while some of the others have dented/worn edges at the top, the inside of the drilled holes on some of them were dirty and caked with candle wax/etc when I bought it and there is still some residue left in them, there is a white mark on the top of the center block and a white streak on the top of one of the side blocks in addition to random marks on other blocks, the top sides of the blocks are a bit darker, duller/matte and worn than the sides due to being exposed to candle wax and dust settling on them, there are some heavy stains on the oak cross pieces in between the dark wood blocks, there is retail sticker residue on the back, wear to the wood finish on the block forms, a dark area of black grain on the bottom that is possibly a stain, water marks, dirt, dust, grime, patina, darkening from oxidation, uneven surface finish/details/shapes/edges/forms due to being handmade, loose fibers/lent, fine chipping on the edges, stains, discoloring and overall wear from age and handling. • Age/era: Unknown, I am guessing that it was made sometime between the 1960s and the late 1980s if not a bit later but I can't guarantee based on how well some people are at simulating the patina that aged wood would exhibit. I am fairly certain that I remember seeing this design at least a couple of decades ago in do-it-yourself woodcraft books that included plans for wood shop projects and/or have seen similar pieces for sale in wood craft stores years ago.

• Materials: Oak wood, unknown wood that is similar in appearance to teak and/or walnut, metal screws
