For sale in our store is a very unique vintage basket fashioned completely out of brass with a movable braided handle. The shape has very soft lines, waving up and down from front to back with the edges flowing over like a waterfall.
The basket is made with thin bands of brass wovenaround thin brass rods which are attached to a solid brass plate on the bottom. The handle is made of three strands of three brass rods which has been attached together then loosely braided to form the flat handle. The handles are placed in a bracket with a rivet to allow for movement. Overall a very sturdy basket. Definitelya very unique!
