Vintage Wedgwood Etruria Brown University Van Wickle Gates 1930s Collectable Plate 10.25" Made in England

Wedgwood issued a set of College Plates for the Brown University in 1938: 6 different views, transfer printed in brown on a 10.25 inch diameter Queensware (earthenware) plate. The border was created for this series, and features the Brown University crest molded in relief at the top of each plate.Imported by the Jones McDuffie & Straiton Company of Boston.

This plate features theVan Wickle Gatesin a brown sepia transferware on a plate with decorative edge.

Condition: There are no chips, cracks or discoloration but there is some crazing both front and back. (You have to really look to see it, but in full disclosure it is there.)

I have the rest of the set (and some duplicates) so please check my store if you want to buy more than one. I am happy to combine shipping.
