Vntg c1940's Lydia Pinkham Tablets Brown Glass Bottle W/Box, Brochure, Menopause For Sale

Cardboard box for Lydia E. Pinkham Tablets, with the amber empty bottle inside for the tablets, metal top and paper label. Also includes two sided brochure with an offer to buy a tablet carry case and a list of all the other products made by the company. Product was made by the Lydia E. Pinkham Medicine Co., Lynn, Mass. The Pinkham products have been made by a number of companies and you can tell it is vintage when you see it was made by the Lydia E Pinkham Medicine Co. My guess after some research puts this product in the late 1940's (brochure in the box also has a zone number--not a zip code--- which helps date it). Box measures 3 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1" and has the same image on the front and back. The brown bottle is slightly smaller than the box. Directions say to take the product for Menopause, monthly periods and for iron deficiency. The bottle is in new condition-no problems to point out. Box also is in very nice condition, with a black wax pen marking the original price on the back. I think the price was 15 cents but it is hard to tell. Only item like this on .
