AFTER LISTING THIS ITEM, I HAVE SUBSEQUENTLY GONE THROUGH AND PERSONALLY HANDS-ON TESTED EACH AND EVERY MOVING PART ON THE UNIT. ALL ARE INTACT AND IN GOOD SHAPE WITH NO SIGNS OF EXCESIVE WEAR, OR ROUGH HANDLING/ABUSE. EVERY KNOB, SET-SCREW, HATCH COVER, ETC, IS ROCK-SOLID, AND SMOOTH AS SILK, LENSES ARE SCRATCH-FREE, AND THERE ARE NO INDICATIONS THAT IT HAS BEEN DROPPED OR POORLY CARED FOR. NO SCRATCHES OF A HEINOUS NATURE, NO DENTS NO DINGS. WHOEVER MADE THIS THING KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, AND WHOEVER OWNED IT DID AS WELL. I FOUND IT IN A TRUCK I PURCHASED AT sale SOME YEARS BACK AND NEVER HAD THE NEED TO USE IT, SO I AM PASSING IT ALONG TO SOMEONE WHO CAN.

OK, through the larger eyepiece, the image is upright, NOT inverted. The numbers I see through the small eyepiece are as follows- the larger numbers on top have one set upside down on top, and another set right side up on the bottom, each number is separated by two hash marks, i.e. 256 hash hash 257 hash hash etc. and spin in opposite directions. The smaller numbers on the bottom are 10 over 3 20 over 3 30 over 3 40 over 3 50 over 3 and then over 4 etc. I hope this helps, if not, feel free to further enlighten me.
