This was the official issue sling for British and Commonwealth forces from the 1800's until it was superseded by the web sling in the latter part of WW2.It measures 46 1/2 inches long and 1 3/8 wide.Complete with running leather keeper loop and thronged for butt attachment. If you have an older British rifle this is the correct sling for your rifle.
