Whaley, Royce & Co Duplex Antique snare drum For Sale

This is an antique snare drum made by Whaley, Royce and Company, under the brand name Duplex. 13 side clamps are attached. One additional side clamps has a hook but is bent, so someone may have to risk using a pliers on this antiques to get that side clamp's hook back over the head. There is one additional side clamp that does not have a hook on top. The rim of the drum doesn't have the same indentation above that spot, so it may be that this is intentional, rather than a missing piece (see photos). It has a curved 3" tear, three fingernail tip sized punctures, and one nailhead sized puncture in the drum skin top. One of the many strings across the inside is hanging unattached. If the metal is shined and the top is fixed it could be a treasure.
