This is an ORIGINAL (NOT a \"made in India\" reproduction!) CROSS STITCH NEEDLE POINT ON LINEN SAMPLER PROJECT.
Her name was HANNAH PARKER DOW of Exeter, New Hampshire.Researching her on Ancestry.com we find that she was baptized December 25, 1831 in the 2nd Church in Exeter, New Hampshire.That would mean that she was born approximately in 1809 - a VERY EARLY SAMPLER!
The upper section consists of capital alpha numeric next section consists of very large capital alpha next section consists of \"Hannah Parker Dow Exeter aged 10 years 1819\"The art work measures 10\" wide x 12 1/4\" tall \" and the overall framed presentation measures 14\" x 11 next section quotes a popular verse of the time:
