1860's Madonna Sorrow Costa & Conti Italian Painting aft Salvi Icon For Sale

Up for consideration is an Antique hand painted Oil on Canvas of the Madonna in Sorrow afterGiovanni Battista Salvi da Sassoferrato. This particular painting is well done.
The painting itself measures about 11.25 by 13.25 inches with overall dimensions being 17 by 20 inches more or less. The painting retains it's original label on the frame which shows that the painting was painted by an Artist employed by the Florentine Company of "Costa & Conti".Costa and Conti were a prominent Florentine duo who ran an art gallery specializing in copies of Renaissance masterpieces executed by academically trained artists. Costa and Conti themselves were skilled artists.
