For sale is an employee pass from the Frisco for the years 1936-1937. It was issued to the spouse of an employee of the Illinois Central Railroad. The pass, which measures appx 4 x 2 1/2 inches and is made of light-weight cardstock, is in very good condition. It has no rips or tears, and all writing/markings are from its issuance and use. The former St. Louis-San Francisco Railway Company, known as the "Frisco" railroad served nine states in the US Mid-west and South (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas) until it was acquired by the Burlington Northern Railroad in 1980; its surving lines are now primarily operated today by the BNSF.
