This amazing set of bookends has been well-preserved for many years.
•Pair of vintage Pirate Bookends.
Just under 7" tall. 3.5 lbs each.
•Paul Herzel's (1876-1956) sculptural designs were sold to Pompeian Bronze early in the first quarter of the 20th century; the earliest examples are bronze clad with polychrome paint.
•Pompeian sold the molds to Marion Bronze in the 1920s.
•Age appropriate patina. No major areas of damage.
