This antique 89Lb VISE manufactured by Reed Company is a rare and valuable tool for collectors and mechanics. Made in the USA in Erie, PA, this vise features a swivel bass and a 5" jaw for secure grip on any object. The brand is known for its quality and durability, making this a great addition to any workshop or collection. This Vice was originally painted it had about three layers see last photo. I want you to make sure that the Vise was okay so I cleaned off the paint there are no signs of welding there's no cracks there's no repairs other than some small chips on the side of one of the jaw faces see next to last photo it's perfect the lead screw turns with one finger the two jaw faces still have the textured surface that they originally did if you look at carefully at some of the photos you can see some of the Machining marks on the dynamic jaw bar.
