Very bold & striking. ESPECIALLY NICE THAT IT HAS THE LARGE RED CROSS AT THE TOP AND REFERS TO RED CROSS AND TRAINING. These were often posted on walls, etc., and occasional in shop windows.

Printed on heavy paper, heavier than most WWI posters were. Posters at the time were generally never intended to last forever when printed at the time, although this one is much heavier and was obviously intended to have a longer life. LARGE SIZE, about 14\" x 22\". In excellent condition and clean. Especiallynice to find in this condition, with no edge tears and only minor surface wear. These posters were never intended to last forever when printed. 100 YEARS OLD NOW !!

I believe it was put away as a souvenir and carefully stored over the years. No thumbtack holes in the corners.
