Gorgeous Jewlry Box from Acra, India, Crystallized Marble w/ Semiprecious Stones For Sale

This Jewelry Box was specially made in Acra, India from crystallized marble, the same as was used in building the Taj Mahal. This work is called Piedra Dura and is inlaid by hand with semi-precious stones: Lapis Lazuli, Amber, Carnelian, Jade, Turquoise, etc. The Gemstones are hand cut, and no two designs are exactly alike. This work is unique to this city only, and has been done in the same manner since the 13th Century, I hope you enjoy it. To produce this box takes approximately 2 1/2 months. Measures 5.25 inches long, 4 inches wide, 1.75 inches high. The box is in excellent condition new .
